Ragdoll cats (definite introduction)
Want to choose a Ragdoll with better appearance and pure bloodline Cat owners need to know a lot about this species. So how should you identify Ragdoll cats? The editor teaches you to investigate from the following aspects.
Complete:
The ideal ragdoll cat has a medium to large build, medium-length hair, blue eyes, and a heavy body color. The dark heart color pattern will probably be covered by a cloud of white hair. The head forms a broad equilateral triangle, with two slightly rounded beard pads at the bottom.
The eyes are large, the face is bright blue, and they are oval in shape. The rectangular body is large and long, broad and rich, with well-developed bones. The legs are dull and long, and the hair on the tail is long and loose. Geniuses do not have medium-long hair that is easy to knot, have very little undercoat, and have abundant feathering scattered on the sides of the body. When breeding puppets, the normal body shape of their ancestors should be maintained as much as possible.
Head:
Large and broad, but in proportion. It is a triangle with ten-tenth sides. These three sides refer to the distance from the outside of the ear base to the slightly rounded beard pad. A flat plane is created between the ears. Cheeks come together in a V shape. Adult male cats may have cheek meat. When the beard and hair are pushed back smoothly with your hands, the skeletal structure of the face will be revealed.
Eyes: They are bright blue eyes, large and oval in shape. The dispersion is relatively open and appropriately slanted, which is consistent with the V-shaped face.
Ears:General size. The dispersion is relatively open, spread outwards appropriately, and spreads along the V-shaped face. The base of the ears is partially wider, and the tips of the ears are rounder and tilted forward.
Side view of the head: Slightly distorted, ending in a straight nose of average length. The chin is well developed and strong, forming a line with the nose and upper lip.
Neck: Rich and healthy.
Body:Large and long, broad and rich, with healthy bones. The body is rectangular, with well-bulged chest and very wide shoulders and hips. The body is rich and muscular, not obese.
Abdomen:The upper end of the abdomen may have a little belly. Female cats will probably be smaller than male cats. Young adult cats may mature more slowly.
Legs: Healthy bones, plain and long. The hind legs are longer than the front legs. The hair on the front legs is shorter, while the hair on the hind legs is longer, as if wearing full and free-spirited breeches.
Paws: Large and round in proportion to the body, with tufts of hair on the tips.
Tail:The hair is long, abundant and loose.
Coat: Genius has medium-long hair that is not easy to knot, with very little undercoat and abundant feathers scattered on both sides of the body.
Collar:The best collar can have a rich scarf.
Appearance:The hair on the face is shorter, the hair on the collar is slightly longer, the hair on the shoulders is shorter, and gradually grows longer towards the tail. The hair of unneutered adult cats may be shorter, and seasonal changes will also affect the length of the hair.
Coat color: Ragdoll cats are bred into three varieties:
1. Two-color Ragdoll cats: light-colored trunk, dark face, ears and tail, dark chest and abdomen The hands and feet are white.
2. Shenxin color Ragdoll cat: The body and face are lighter and the color spots are darker.
3. Fingerless glove-style Ragdoll cat: Like the heavy-colored Ragdoll cat, its chest, bust, lower jaw and front paws are white. The main colors of the coat include seal points, chocolate points, blue and light purple points.
