English Bulldog Breed Profile

Brief introduction of British Bulldog
British Bulldog (confirm introduction)

The English Bulldog originated in the British Isles in the 13th century. It is a medium-sized dog that is honest, steady, courageous, energetic and bold. Therefore, in the past, he was often used to hold the game of "dog biting cow". But later this kind of exercise was considered a crime in the UK, so the English bulldog became less and less valuable.

It is said that Yingdou’s ancestors were bred together between Mastiffs and Bulldogs. After learning that British Bulldogs are becoming increasingly worthless and may even be destroyed, some dog owners Enthusiasts felt very pessimistic when they saw the end of the breed, so they took up the responsibility of saving the breed without hesitation. They maintained some of the outstanding qualities of this dog, eliminated its unpopular personality, and maintained the integrity of the breed. Strengthening some of the best qualities, cultivated breeding has brought about satisfactory results. Through several generations of selection and breeding, the British Bulldog has become one of the most physically powerful species and minimized its original wildness.

The bullfighting we see now is a breed that has been preserved through the efforts of many people, and we should also be happy because of their efforts to preserve such a unique dog breed.
